Michael Sigl, from the Climate and Environmental Physics department & Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research at the University of Bern, Switzerland, will present "Securing timelines of volcanism and climate over the past 4000 years".
Description
Michael will present a reconstruction of volcanic forcing from an array of ice cores from Antarctica and Greenland and discuss current limitations and future perspectives to disentangle the climate effects caused by these eruptions using (multi-) proxy reconstructions.
