Description

The 6th EMCEI will be held at the conference center of Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech.The 6th Euro-Mediterranean Conference for Environmental Integration (EMCEI-2024) builds on prior achievements to position itself as the key venue in the Euro-Mediterranean region for showcasing and debating cutting-edge environmental science research. EMCEI-24 aims to gather high-quality, original research papers for publication following peer review in the proceedings (indexed in Scopus) and in topical collections (special issues) of the Euro-Mediterranean Journal for Environmental Integration and other journals on various multidisciplinary topics linked to the evolution and development of the Euro-Mediterranean environment in the past, present, and future (see Special Issues). The main objectives of the conference are to support research and innovation, to promote the exchange of scientific knowledge, and to foster collaboration among Euro-Mediterranean communities. The conference participants will have an opportunity to attend several keynote presentations on new indicators and directions in research, development and innovations in the multidisciplinary fields of the environmental sciences. To this end, several high-profile Euro-Mediterranean scientists will participate in this conference (see Plenaries). Moreover, a social and cultural program is planned, where, participants can take a little time out to explore the wonders of Marrakesh, chief city of central Morocco and the first of Morocco’s four imperial cities (see Social Program).

10 February 2024 - Deadline for submitting a revised abstract (1 page / max. 350 words)    
15 February 2024 - Notification of acceptance or rejection of revised abstracts    
31 January 2024 - Opening of online registration to attend (audience), present/publish, present only or to publish only (authors of accepted abstracts only)
