SISAL database update

Members of the PAGES Speleothem Isotopes Synthesis and AnaLysis (SISAL) working group have published a "Science Update" in Eos on the power of paleoclimate databases as tools for improving climate models.
"Improving access to paleoclimate data", by Nikita Kaushal et al., also explains how SISAL has reached out beyond the speleothem community and established collaborations with researchers from other paleoclimate disciplines.
The paper gives a detailed history of SISAL and the development of its database.
