The 26th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) which was due to take place from 26-30 August 2020 in Budapest, Hungary, has been cancelled.

Venues
The Annual Meeting has two venues, which are at short walking distance from each other.
Registration, the EAA helpdesk, the sessions, the coffee breaks and the Europen Archaeological Fair are at the ELTE Faculty of Humanities Campus (Trefort-kert).
The other venue is the Hungarian National Museum (HNM), where some of the keynote presentations and social events will be held.
Themes
The Annual Meeting themes, as defined by the Scientific Committee, incorporate the diversity of EAA and the multidimensionality of archaeological practice, including archaeological interpretation, heritage management and politics of the past and present.
