Day 1: Science communication workshop: Hands-on training communicating science to the broader audience
Day 2: SDG challenge competition: Inter- and transdisciplinary teams compete to propose ambitious solutions to the sustainability challenges of our time.
Aim of the workshop
The workshop is aimed at capacity building of early career researchers. To make the event broadly appealing to early career researchers of all disciplines, we focus on two themes. 1) Capacity building for science communication and 2) capacity building for inter- and transdisciplinary thinking.
On the first day, there will be a science communication workshop, followed by a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Challenge Competition (see details in the call). Participation in the science communication workshop is open for all eligible candidates, while participation in the SDG challenge is competitive.
Both workshops, which will take place at the University of Sarajevo and online, are open for early career researchers of all disciplines who graduated in 2012 or after. Membership of the Early Career Researcher Network of Network (ECRNoN) member networks is desired, but not mandatory.
