The PRYSM Lake Proxy SFurther informationystem Model is a physically based, forward model of lacustrine systems which includes:
- lake processes (energy balance, water balance)
- paleoclimate proxy forward models (e.g. leaf wax hydrogen isotopes, GDGTs)
- depositional processes (sedimentation, compaction, bioturbation)
- simulation of age uncertainties
