The PAGES-endorsed International Paleofire Network (IPN) and PAGES' Integrating diverse knowledge systems for environmental policy working group (DiverseK) will conduct a two-day online workshop "Paleofire research: methods, development and opportunities" from 26-27 May 2021.
Description
This Zoom event is designed for early-career researchers (ECRs).
Organizers invite all ECRs interested in the use of paleofire proxies as a tool in their research to attend the workshop. They hope this will be a good platform to foster collaborations between ECRs across the globe and to discuss various aspects of paleofire research.
The event is supported by PAGES and the PAGES Early-Career Network (ECN).

How to join
The meeting will be held on Zoom. Organizers will post an open link to the Zoom meeting before the workshop, however, if you already know you will join the workshop, please register via this Google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Nr5Bgfhh9FJEjBjceEj2M4-47oyDTmyBKBC1GlCt7nA/viewform?ts=6078166f&edit_requested=true
This will help organizers assess the number of interested ECRs. Registered attendees will get a notification and a link to Zoom before the meeting via e-mail.
