The British Cave Research Association is pleased to announce details of the Annual Cave Science Symposium. The Symposium will be hosted by Dr. Beth Fox and Jo White, on Saturday 27th November, 2021, subject to Covid-19 restrictions.

Hulland Ward Village Hall, near Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 3EG
Fieldtrip – Sunday 28th November 2021. Location to be confirmed.
This event will also be available online via. Zoom for both presenters and viewers.
A programme of presentations is being assembled that will be of interest to anyone wishing to know more about the underground environment. Further details will follow.
Virtual presentations and attendees are very welcome, so even if you can't make it in person, all is not lost!
Call for abstracts
Deadline: 17 October 2021
Abstracts are welcome for posters or oral presentations on any topic of cave or karst-based research, and these should be submitted by email no later than 30th September 2021, to Symposium@bcra.org.uk using the abstract submission form available for download here.
Presentation slots are not limited to those with a connection to the UK - this invitation is to all interested cave and karst scientists worldwide. We will accept presentations in person, or via a digital connection.
