This symposium aims to strengthen links between IGBP and the US science community. The symposium will highlight recent advances in global environmental change research, focusing on challenges posed by mounting pressure from global change on marine, terrestrial and human systems. Presentations drawn from the IGBP core projects, IGBP-led studies, and US science research will demonstrate the relevance of these topics to US global change science and how this science can inform decision and policy makers.
Students and post docs are encouraged to attend. Participation is free but registration is required. Lunch will be provided for registered participants. Register here
