Young Researchers Workshop
A “Permafrost Young Researchers Workshop” will be hosted in the context of the Fourth European Conference on Permafrost (EUCOP IV). This workshop will be organized in a joint effort of PYRN (Permafrost Young Researchers Network), APECS (Association of Polar Early Career Scientists ) and the young researcher representatives of the two projects PAGE21 (Changing Permafrost in the Arctic and its Global Effects in the 21st Century) and ADAPT (Arctic Development and Adaptation to Permafrost in Transition).
ICARP III - Town Hall Meeting (19 June 2014 - 17:15)
The 3rd International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP III) process will provide a framework to identify permafrost science priorities for the next decade; to inform policy makers, people who live on or near permafrost and the global community and to build constructive relationships between producers and users of knowledge. It will culminate in 2015 with the organisation of a conference where a consensus statement identifying the most important permafrost research needs for the next decade will be presented. The townhall meeting at EUCOP4 is your opportunity to influence the process and contribute these research priorities. The core group for permafrost will present the process and collect input from participants of the conference on the priority themes to be defined for permafrost. Come and get a chance to be part of defining permafrost research priorities for the next ten years!
