Open Scientific Meeting of the European Pollen Database

The meeting comprises invited talks, poster sessions, open discussions and a field excursion. We offer 5 different training workshops designed to help palynologists develop and strengthen their skills when working with multiple sites and data held in the European Pollen Database (EPD).

The aim is to get more European palynologists involved with the EPD. The EPD now has new funding, a new data manager and new technical support. The EPD will be updated and redesigned based upon discussions at this meeting. We encourage palynologists at an early stage of their career to attend and take part in this process.

Financial support for attendance is available for young scientists.
