3rd PAGES Young Scientists Meeting

The PAGES Young Scientists Meeting (YSM) is a PAGES flagship event for early-career researchers held every four years.

In May 2017, the 3rd PAGES YSM will take place in Morillo de Tou, north of Zaragoza, Spain, in the Pyrenean region. Find out more about Morillo de Tou here: http://www.pages-osm.org/ysm/about-morillo

Event dates

7-9 May 2017: 3rd PAGES YSM
9-13 May 2017: 5th PAGES OSM (Zaragoza)
14-16 May 2017: Regional field trips and excursions

The young scientists will come back from Morillo de Tou on the evening of 9 May, in time for the OSM Icebreaker event in Zaragoza.

Transport between Zaragoza and Morillo de Tou is included in the YSM registration.

Applications

The selection process for the YSM is competitive. About 80 early-career researchers will be chosen, based on the quality of their application and suitability.

Deadlines

2016
26 July: Website open for registration and abstract submissions.
1 October: Deadline for YSM applications, abstract submissions and financial support requests.
15 November: Selection for attendance at the YSM and grant recipients.

2017
9 January (Extended): Deadline for abstract submissions for OSM.
8 February: Selection for acceptance/rejection of abstracts, poster/oral presentations, financial support recipients for OSM. Notifications to follow shortly after.
