The International Symposium on 'Loess Deposits as Archives of Environmental Change in the Past' will be held in Yerevan, Armenia, from 15-22 September 2019 (2019).

The Symposium will be organized by the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences, supported by the Technische Universität Dresden (Institute of Geography), and the Justus-Liebig University Giessen (Institute of Geography).
Description
The aim is to bring together scientists and young researchers from different fields of loess research to present and discuss latest findings, recent innovations and further challenges.
Further details for the symposium, including local arrangements, abstract submission and registration details will be provided in the European summer 2018.
Program
The conference will run for two days, with options for two or three day excursions afterwards.
Be involved in this excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge with loess scientists and take advantage to visit breathtaking landscapes in the Armenian highlands.
