Geological Society of America (GSA) Annual Meeting

The Geological Society of America (GSA) will hold its 130th Annual Meeting from 4-7 November 2018 in Indianapolis, USA.

Venues

1. Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium 100 S. Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46225
2. JW Marriott Indianapolis 10 S. West St., Indianapolis, IN 46204

Registration, technical programs, poster sessions, and exhibits will be held at the Indiana Convention Center (ICC). GSA Field Trips will also depart from the ICC. The JW Marriott Indianapolis is the headquarter hotel where the majority of non-technical events will be held.

Description

The Geological Society of America (GSA) is a global professional society with a growing membership of more than 26,000 individuals in 115 countries. GSA provides access to elements that are essential to the professional growth of earth scientists at all levels of expertise and from all sectors: academic, government, business, and industry. The Society unites thousands of earth scientists from every corner of the globe in a common purpose to study the mysteries of our planet (and beyond) and share scientific findings.

Travel grants

GSA International is offering travel grants to help support the participation of international scientists and students in GSA’s Annual Meeting, 4-7 November, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Travel grant funds are limited and grants will not cover the full cost to attend the meeting but are intended to help offset the combined cost of registration, housing, and travel.
