Description

The World Congress of Environmental History (WCEH) is the chief activity of the ICEHO and is held every five years. Previous editions in Copenhagen (Denmark, 2009) and Guimarães (Portugual, 2014) consolidated the WCEH as a unique opportunity for scholars from different disciplines to situate environmental history in a planetary perspective.

Climate History Network session

María del Rosario Prieto, Facundo Rojas and Katherinne Mora are planning to conduct a panel/session "Climatological History and Climate History in The Americas, 16th to 20th centuries".

They are looking for researchers and papers related to several topics such as El Niño, the Little Ice Age, disasters linked to climate or weather (floods, droughts, hailstorms, hurricanes…), adaptation to "adverse" climate, current global warming, the history of climatology or meteorology, and other linked issues.
