The "Feeding Anglo-Saxon England" project team is excited to announce a virtual conference "New perspectives on the medieval agricultural revolution", to be held online, by video link, on 7 and 8 December 2020.
Speakers will explore how archaeobotanical, palynological, zooarchaeological, and biomolecular analyses enable us to reconstruct farming regimes from across medieval England and beyond.
Description
The latest research into medieval farming has produced the first direct evidence for the conditions in which medieval cereals were grown. At this conference, speakers will explore how the analysis of excavated plant and animal remains enables us to reconstruct medieval farming regimes.
This conference will be an online event, with speakers presenting via video link. Everyone is welcome to attend from the comfort of their own computer. No specialist software is required, just a computer with a webcam, microphone and internet connection.
