The BCRA Cave Science Meeting 2020 will be held online on 14 November 2020.

Logistics

Attendance will be free, using an online portal (likely Zoom) so participants worldwide are invited, although do be aware talks will be during normal UK working hours (09:00-17:00 GMT).

Description

It will be hosted by Professor Mike Rogerson at the University of Northumbria, UK.

About 10 talks are expected. As in previous years contributions are invited across the cave/karst spectrum including archaeology, biology, geomorphology, hydrology and speleothem science.

Presentation slots are not limited to those with a connection to the UK - this invitation is to all interested cave and karst scientists worldwide.

Abstract submissions

Organizers are open to abstracts on any subject linked to cave and karst science, from professional or amateur researchers.

Please contact Mike for the abstract template: michael.rogersonatnorthumbria.ac.uk (michael[dot]rogerson[at]northumbria[dot]ac[dot]uk) and submit it back to him via email by 25 September at the latest (using "BCRA abstract" in the email subject).

Organizers are exploring possibilities for a virtual fieldtrip on 15 November - more information to come.
