International Data Week (IDW) 2021 runs from 8-11 November 2021 in Seoul, South Korea.

Logistics

Webinar 1 will be held on 16 February from 08:00–08:45 UTC

Webinar 2 will be held on 4 March from 13:00–13:45 UTC.

Description

These webinars will introduce the hosts, themes, and programme components, as well as provide key information on calls for session proposals.

The two 45-minute webinars will follow the same agenda, but are aimed at different time zones, and will be recorded and made available after the events.

About IDW 2021

IDW 2021 — Data to Improve our World: The Role of Data to Address Global Challenges — will take place from 8–11 November 2021, hosted by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) and the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) in Seoul, South Korea.

The four days will cover the following sub-themes: The State of Open Science / Research Globally; Research Transparency, Accountability and Reproducibility; Data, Research and Industry: The Interface between Data-intensive Research and Innovation; Citizen Science; Empowering and Enabling Society: Data Science and Stewardship Education and Data Literacy.
