The field of soil science is mushrooming by leaps and bounds due to the growing interest in food security and safety as well as environmental quality. In addition, many emerging state-of-the-art technologies being developed by other fields will be available for adaptation in soil science. Thus, we are in the presence of an explosion of information and knowledge in the many fields of soil science. The 20th WCSS will be an excellent opportunity to get on top of changes in soil science and to envision new perspectives for basic and applied soil research.
20WCSS has been held quadrennial since 1927 as a scientific meeting in the field of soil science. As the most highly acclaimed meeting of its field, 20WCSS is expected to gather a large number of scientists and industry together from around the world. Over 2500 participants from more than 100 countries around the world are expected to attend the 20WCSS.
20WCSS will be an excellent learning experience for all participants. Under the theme, - Soils Embrace Life and Universe - a wide range of scientific programs and stimulating social activities will be organized. In addition, renowned experts will address the pertinent issues and technological advances in the broad areas of soil science throughout the meeting. Furthermore, participants will have a great opportunity to network through extensive discussions and informative exchanges.
