The 28th Scientific Committee (SC) Meeting of IGBP will be held from 17th-19th April with a symposium, the Swiss Global Change Day, being held a day earlier on the 16th April. The symposium will include IGBP speakers and posters.
The three main objectives of the 2013 SC Meeting are to discuss and define:
1) the transition to Future Earth,2) synthesis, and3) additional integration activities (including modeling and observations).
