Advanced Climate Dynamics Courses (ACDC) are yearly summer schools organized by the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Dynamics at the University of Bergen in collaboration with the University of Washington and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Target

Advanced PhD candidates and early career scientists.

Goal

To mix students and lecturers with empirical/proxy and dynamical training within climate science and focus on understanding the basic principles and dynamics behind key events observed in paleoclimate archives (marine, terrestrial and ice core).
