Advanced Climate Dynamics Course 2012

The aim is to bring together scientists and lecturers from different backgrounds related to climate science, creating a truly interdisciplinary learning experience for all participants.

The focus will be on the interaction of climate and weather with landscapes and orography on a range of timescales (synoptic to tectonic). Topics to be included are: atmospheric dynamcis, geodynamics, models of the litosphere, erosional processes (primarily mechanical and chemical), mountain building, orographic precipitation, and the long term carbon cycle
