Description
In this session, we invite the global peatland community to present their research on peatlands across latitudes. Studies from a wide range of global peatlands, including arctic, boreal, temperate, and tropical peatlands are welcome. We encourage participation from studies including but not limited to laboratory and field experiments, flux measurements, remote sensing, ecology, and process-based or large-scale modeling. Studies exploring past, present, and future dynamics are welcome, as well as those seeking to understand the response of degraded peatlands or those under pressure from climate change.
