Description
Researchers from all fields of the geosciences from all over the world are invited to present and discuss their newest original work athis comprehensive international geoscience conference. The aim is to cover a wide range of topics from all the disciplines of the Earth and planetary sciences from all over the world.
During this MedGU-24, a number of prominent speakers will be invited to give keynotes. Moreover, we are planning workshops, a social program, and a field trip, where participants can take a little time out to explore the wonders of the geological sites of the Spanish and French Pyrenees.
As with the previous MedGU-21, MedGU-22, and MedGU-23 the latest research findings at MedGU-24 will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer in the IEREK ASTI Book Series (indexed in Scopus/SCImago) and in some Special Issues, with a clear mission to encourage greater scientific cooperation and to open doors to new and enriching collaborations between geoscientists on the opposite shores of the Mediterranean and from all over the world.

Scientific Program
The MedGU-24 Scientific Programs will be announced on this page after the deadline for payment of registration fees as confirmation of participation to attend, present, or publish only. There will be no announcement of a preliminary version of the program based on an unconfirmed list of participants. Notification of acceptance to present (in-person or virtually) at the MedGU-24: 15 July
Deadline for submitting a revised abstract (1 page / max. 350 words): 31 July
Notification of acceptance or rejection of revised abstracts: 10 August
Opening of online registration to attend (audience), present/publish or to publish only at the MedGU-24 (authors of accepted abstracts only): 15 August
