Description
This webinar is open to all potential data contributors working on pollen and sediment charcoal series from the Neotropics.
Developing interdisciplinary research and combining methodologies and disciplines to address future wildfire challenges are part of the research initiatives promoted by the Leverhulme Wildfires Centre and the PAGES DiverseK working group.
Data will contribute to the RPD (Reading Palaeofire Database).
Aims
The objectives of the webinar are to dicsuss:
- collaborative work aimed at increasing the spatio-temporral resolution of existing vegetation/fire reconstructions;
- the potential for data inegration of Indigenous knowledge data in the Neotropical context.
