Description
SISAL is starting a new project to investigate if trace element proxies from stalagmites can provide information of local climate and hydrology. This will additionally allow them to strengthen the interpretation of the oxygen and carbon isotopic data in the SISAL database. Silvia's talk will set the tone by talking about some processes controlling the movement and partitioning of trace elements.
If you cannot join but are keen on participating in SISAL's trace element work, the talk will be recorded and feel free to add your thoughts to the Googledoc (link below). Please email the organizers if you cannot access Google and they will email a word doc to you instead.
