The goal of the workshop is to bring together palynologists from China and around the world to work on the early version of the China Quaternary Pollen database, founded in 1996.
The idea is to expand and improve on it to include at least three sections:
(1) pollen morphology,
(2) surface pollen, and
(3) fossil pollen.
