Sixth International Limnogeology Congress (ILIC6)

This is the second time the meeting has been held in the USA, and the first time since 2003.

The Congress will feature eight Keynote speakers from North America and Europe, speaking on topics that range from extraterrestrial lake deposits, Eocene lake deposits, Quaternary paleoclimate, comparison of modern and ancient foreland basins, lakes and hominid evolution, and meteorite impact lakes.

There will also be an optional age-depth modeling workshop on Monday of the meeting, focused on Bacon (Blaauw and Christen 2011).

Abstracts/Registration

Please submit your abstracts by 14 February. Volunteered abstracts will all be posters, in order to foster discussion; oral presentations are invited and plenary.
