This meeting was arranged by the Swedish IGBP and WCRP committee, and was co-sponsored by the Royal Swedish Academy of Science and the Swedish Natural Science Research Council.
The overall objectives were to:
1. identify ongoing PAGES-related research in Sweden,
2. explore the interest in participating in the PEP III transect and in IGBP Focus 3,
3. discuss marine-terrestrial correlations,
4. decrease the 'misunderstandings' between the paleo-data and modeling communities.
