Changes in the Geosphere-Biosphere during the last 15,000 Years

A fundamental understanding of the processes which have governed the terrestrial ecosystem and its evolution during the most recent period of Earth history has yet to be achieved.

The Bonn workshop, which followed up on the initial agenda setting meeting of January 1995, concentrated on improving inter-project collaboration and dissemination of initial results through the establishment of the PANGAEA (PaleoNetwork for Geological and Environmental Data) database.
