I am a geographer and historian with interests in historical climatology. My research focuses on the spatiotemporal variability of hydrometeorological extremes and their impacts on society since the 16th century. Except for my position at the Department of Geography, Masaryk University I also work as a postdoc at the Global Change Research Institute, Brno, Czech Republic.
