An extensive compilation of previously published Holocene proxy climate records from the Arctic. This database is the product of the PAGES-endorsed Arctic Holocene Transitions (AHT) project. The PAGES IPO hosted the project leader as a visiting scientist during the initial stages of the database compilation, and facilitated AHT project meetings.

A contribution to PAGES' Global Paleofire Working Group which manages the Global Charcoal Database (GCD). This open access article presents a “paleofire”, a new open source R package intended to ease the process of interrogating and analyzing sedimentary charcoal series (transformation, homogenization, synthesis, mapping, etc.) in the GCD. The package itself can be downloaded from the Comprehensive R Archive Network at http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/paleofire/index.html
