Nikita Kaushal and Marie-France Loutre

Today, the PAGES International Project Office received a visit from Nikita Kaushal, SISAL working group steering committee member, and more recently, also a 2k Network coordinator.

Nikita was invited to give a paleolimnology seminar at the Institute of Geography at the University of Bern. We at PAGES, of course, were thrilled to be able to steal some of her time and catch up on recent news over a coffee before her seminar.

Nikita has freshly returned from Jerusalem, Israel, where SISAL held its 5th workshop from 28 February - 3 March. We were happy to hear that despite the many logistical challenges the group had to prepare for, it went very well, and a lot of progress was made.

We thank Nikita for the visit, and would like to remind everyone in our PAGES community that our doors are always open for a coffee and a catch-up.
