Thomas et al. have recently published a paper on "Ice core chemistry database: an Antarctic compilation of sodium and sulfate records spanning the past 2000 years".
The authors have synchronized over 100 hundred annual ice core records of sodium sulfate and sulfur from Antarctica dating back as far as 2000 years. This work wasn't possible without the contributions of PAGES 2k Network, CLIVASH2k (Phase 3). One of the authors, Dieter Tetzner, has been funded as part of the PAGES Data Stewardship scholarship and awarded to Elizabeth R. Thomas.
