Thomas et al. have recently published a paper on "Ice core chemistry database: an Antarctic compilation of sodium and sulfate records spanning the past 2000 years".
The authors have synchronized over 100 hundred annual ice core records of sodium sulfate and sulfur from Antarctica dating back as far as 2000 years.
