The Product Database is available again, following disruptions in February and March. We thank you for your patience. The Product Database houses PAGES-supported papers, articles, meeting reports, previous e-news and electronic versions of PAGES Magazine. Access these items, and more, here: http://pastglobalchanges.org/products/latest

A reminder that following the closure of IGBP in 2015, PAGES has a new website address - www.pastglobalchanges.org. All previous www.pages-igbp.org links will continue to work for the next five years, but we recommend using www.pastglobalchanges.org from now on.

5. Working Group updates

i. Aquatic Transitions

- The working group is currently meeting (25-28 April) at the University of Maine in Orono, USA. The 21 participants, including several new members, come from Argentina, Australia, Canada, India, Thailand, UK and USA. The meeting advanced a suite of review papers towards publication and worked through the goals and protocols for the development of a database directed to synthesizing the history of the impact of humans on lake ecosystems across the globe. Discussions also focussed on the approaches that may be employed to detect critical transitions from sedimentary records.

- Working group member Keely Mills, a paleoenvironmental scientist at the British Geological Survey, discusses the work and benefits of International Research Platforms, including PAGES, in this article from the International Union for Quaternary Research (INQUA) blog. http://inqua.org/blog/2016/04/15/international-research-platforms-getting-involved/

ii. LandCover6k

- A subgroup of PAGES' ‪‎LandCover6k‬ working group has a new blog, open to everyone who works with pollen records, set up by Dr Jane Bunting: https://lc6ksubgroup9.wordpress.com

- Take part in a conference session:
Eighth World Archaeological Congress, WAC8
