PAGES–Risk KAN webinar

PAGES' 5th webinar, focusing on Future Earth's Knowledge-Action Network on Extreme Events and Emergent Risks (Risk-KAN), will be held on 15 April 2021 at 8:00 UTC.

The webinar, presented by Felix Riede and Phil Riris, will discuss mutual interests, potential synergies, and an invitation to be involved.

PAGES is one of the core constituents of the global science-policy organization Future Earth. Knowledge-Action Networks (KANs) make up another cluster of defining Future Earth components.

The presenters will focus in particular on the Risk-KAN working group called past4future, which aims to make paleo perspectives on past human environment interactions, and especially on extreme events, relevant to colleagues working in the present.
