To be included in the report, the literature cut-off dates are 1 November 2017 for manuscripts to be submitted and 15 May 2018 for acceptance. http://www.ipcc.ch/report/sr15/

8. MARPA call for input on storage

The Marine Annually Resolved Proxy Archives (MARPA) community have been working on creating community approved standards and tools to facilitate the archiving of metadata for physical materials and geochemical data, from marine annually resolved proxies such as corals, mollusks, alga, sclerosponges, etc.

They recently published a project update in EOS and now require input on how the geochemical data metadata should be stored. Access the EOS report, co-written by several active PAGES members, and find out more: https://marpasite.wordpress.com/

9. Future Earth updates

i. Applications to join the development team for the Ocean Knowledge-Action Network (KAN) close 30 April: http://www.futureearth.org/future-earth-ocean

ii. Future Earth has been invited to participate in the the UNFCCC SBSTA research dialogue day of the UN Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany, on 10 May 2017. The meeting webpage is www.unfccc.int/10154. The format is posters focusing on two themes: 1. Regional climate research data and information, and gaps; 2. Science to take stock and asses progress on mitigation.

Future Earth is calling for relevant research highlights from your project that address the two themes or cover emerging scientific findings, research planning activities, research priorities and gaps, research capacity building activities particularly in developing countries, regional climate change research networks and relevant communication issues. Include pictures or graphs etc. to accompany the text. Please email Cat Downy cat.downyatfutureearth.org (cat[dot]downy[at]futureearth[dot]org) by 21 April with the content you would like to be included for consideration. More than one poster may be presented if needed.
