Regional groups (Phases 1-2)

Until May 2017, the 2k Network was made up of nine regional working groups. Each regional group collected and processed the best time series and spatial reconstructions of important state variables of the climate system (e.g. surface and 500 hPa geopotential, temperature and precipitation). The reconstructed maps and timeseries were analyzed in combination with the best ensemble runs of existing ESMs.

These regional working groups, below, are now complete, and a new phase of 2k Network has begun.
